So my recently purchased wagon is silver, which seems to show up a whole lot of shallow paint scratches and scuffs etc. What's the best product and method to use in order to try remove some of these marks! i know that no product will remove paint chips but I'm sure some marks which the regular wash doesn't get can be taken off somehow.
I don't know a lot about cutting compounds, wax etc so I thought I would ask you helpful bunch first :)

Use Meguiars professional series cutting compound(medium cut) first then use the megiuars 3 step system(paint cleaner first to get the swirl out or what called spider webbing, polish to deepen color and add shine, then wax to protect it.) you'll spend about $130 buying these products but well worth it.

heywillhey -look I'm in the "trade"and have cutting compound and buffing machines to handbut even so I find its actually more economical to pay the experts to do the job. In this case NOT a normal spray painter. The Guys I use is Touch up guys -specifically the west auckland guy. It will cost you around $150 for them to go round your car -sometimes with sandpaper, sometimes with a touch up paint brush, sometimes just with a tiny buff and heavy compound. But I promise you this. The result is spectacular and well worth the money. It actually turns out to be cheaper than buying the products yourself.

I use colour back polish. You can buy it in diifferent clours; my car is silver and as long as they;re not deep it comes up ok.

Thanks for the response guys. Kaz I might look up that fella you mentioned, what's his name/buisness! I've heard meguiars are the best and obviously you get what you pay for so may look into their product line.
Cheers
