i've got an indian scout !he was issued with a colt .38 pistol that was based on the old.36 colt navy percussion frame and converted at the factory to take the new .38 cartridge. this was at the time of the new colt frontier and peace maker pistols arrived on the scene. the new colt models were in short supply, and the army still didn't trust the scouts with the new one.

I havent seen an International Scout for ages. Arn't they a bit like an old Blazer! Could you not adapt a Blazer shaft!

Yup highly unlikely you would ever find one lying about somewhere in NZ. Its going to be making one from scratch, adapting something similar locally or geting one ex USA. Australia could be another source, there was a few sold there.

Brian Falkner of Falcon Plastics in Paraparaumu used to have 1 or 2 of these and was adapting the 46 ford cab to a chassis, might be worth a phonecall to check on his parts left over.

believe it or not, but your best bet is actually a agricultural machinery dealer who deals with CASE International harvesters and associated eqipment.
Also nissan had alicence to build these things in the late 70's early 80's depending on your model year, they were powered by the nissan SD33/T engines the predecessor to the nissan safari and patrol
