now don't you start cutting down on the 'wordy' responses jazz, I use your posts as a gauge for my own, if only to prove I'm not the longest worded bugga on here, although in the past there were many times when I ran out of room in the dialogue box to fit it all in, had to start a second box with 'cont' at the top beats me how a one sentence says anything apart from 'I'm too arrogant to actually correspond with you - this is my opinion and thats all you get limited to one specific aspect of your query' . it just doesn't feel right to slap a quip down and leave the original poster in complete darkness about why you answered such in such a manner eh

He puts War And Peace to shame. And not a paragraph in sight.

Wasted words are like wasted steps, you never get them back.

ahhh but whats wasted, cos if you don't say them they are just as wasted, and if you do, you never know which was wasted and which was picked up and used lol

I couldn't agree with you more, its very much how I feel about reply's too. Oh and don't worry you are not the only one to hit the word limit for a post now and then.

Only 1549 words, but he actually answered the question at hand from personal experiencerather than going off on a tangent recommending a Citroen 206 with the fantastic DSG gearbox coupled to the super reliable FIRE engine to carry the chicken in that he once drove as a rental. I think if you cut out the sections of your posts that were assumptions and unsubstantiated opinion, information you Googled from dubious sources and purely stuck to your own experience, your posts would be a very similar length to others. I like to think you probably mean well, but I??

Good on you Bellkey for picking that up - it is (or in the abbreviated form- it's) so often incorrectly used. This is a rare occasion when the possessive apostrophe is over-ridden.Cher!

i'm not sure whether you are correcting me or not - however 'it's' really should have been 'that is' or 'that's' anyway.

I have been irritated by the length of some of his posts (and have said so) but I also remember how giving he wasof whatever knowledge he had about the Alfa Romeo 156 when I was briefly titillated by them. His post didnt seem too long when I needed it for myself. He knew more about them than I did or do now.I didnt buy one, but ended up buying a BMW 740i instead.
Jazz if you need to know anything firsthand about an E38 BMW, I am willing to share all I know. ( it wont take long).
The one thing in common it has with an Alfa Romeo 156 is that they are both drivers cars.
Have you noticed my clever use of horizontal gaps in the text!
This is my gift to you.
Do with it what you will!

I just looked at the pictures, lol. My neighbour made one of these, very cool, stops the stupid rooster crowing at ungodly hours.
To Jazz, skin(some numbers) and carmedic, it's not that i don't feel like conversing, i just don't have that much to say!
And therefore, can be concise.

at 6'4" and about 17 stone I was a chubby kid leaving school, lost about 9 of those stone when laid up with hepatitis at 19 for about 8 weeks, when I was walking again I had huge flaps/flabs of skin hanging all over the place, my nic became skin - 45 yr ago or thereabouts signing into here 'skin was taken, as was skin1, skin 12, skin123, so plonked down skin 1235 as a sig , it was accepted andthus today - I'm shrinking height a bit now and increasing girth to match but still called skin by the family
concise - I try can't do
