Yep, there's a big price premium on sending big items to Aus. A lot of ebay USA sellers won't send to Aus for that reason.

OK.I have 2 packagesthat are about 0.5m3 each, so all up Ihave 1.0m3 @ about 40kg to send toOzzy (Gladstone, Qld, 4680) . Heis organizing he own freight. Probably a furniture removalcompany or even Toll, Mainfreight.
Anyone want have atguessatwhat'sit going to cost him.

it cost$150 aust to get a sump sent from Sydney so hate to see how they price a bonnet

I sent two cylinder heads (20kgs each) to Aus for about $100 each through NZ-post. But items like panels would be too large to send though NZ-post. You would have to try the big wigs which would charge a lot.
