Nope. Only have to pay to bring the vehicle license up to date if its expired at the time of deregistration.

Yes, as once you deregister the plates become dead and don't get used on another vehicle (except p-plates, but you still have to hand them in for security reasons if you take them off a car without putting them on a new car)
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
