GRRRR!

I now do not like car park buildings. Was parked in the Palms carpark last night while out having dinner and some clown scraped the side of my car pulling out of the car park! Got to work this morning and noticed the bumper looking out of shape so on further inspection discovered a large scrape mark across the right hand side of my car, back guard dented and bumper twisted.
I am not happy at all about this, surely you would have noticed as you were reversing out why my car suddenly moved!
I now have to pay the excess because I have no details. By the way I know your car was white (mines a copper coloured Swift) and it possibly had red trim on the bumper as I managed to scrape off some white and red paint!

No cameras. Its only a $300 excess but hell I'd feel guilty if I pranged someones car in a car park! In fact I did! Caught the guys bumper and left a mark so I left a note, got hold of the guy who was really chuffed I had taken the time to call him! He wasn't worried about any damage.

Some fat arse got into the car next to mine which caused their car to sag down and their car door had a go at mine on the way down. I was there at the time. No visible damage luckily so NP.

I just got the insurance forms in the post and after explaining to the nice lady on the phone, she had filled out bits of the form TOTALLY wrong!
The incident happened on wednesday night, I discovered the prang on Thursday at morning smoko! She has written down that it happened at 10am on Thursday morning.Oh grrrrr! now I have to go into the office and speak to this woman and fill out another lot of forms!

Anyways , have taken car to the panelbeater and had a rough cost to fix. $1000 -$1200 for a scrape! Also sorted out the insurance forms by making the necessary corrections and initialing them. I went one better and also printed out another form and filled that in and included it in with all the other bits and pieces!
Car is booked in for the assessor on Tuesday and it should take about a week to fix my baby up.

Now have car back from panelbeaters after a week driving a thirsty Impreza! They did an awesome job and I am thrilled insurance came to the party. Cost was $1360!

Hmm I would check around the party hire and kids party places- There can't be too many clowns around, should be easy to track down the one that dinged your car.

Did he leave behind any evidence! Strands of orange hair! Clown shoe prints!

The panelbeaters were Kaiapoi Panel and Paint. Will hopefully never have to use one again but if I did it will be those guys again!
