From google reviews they seems bloody good but want someone running them in NZ to tell me what they think.

I've had them on as front tyres for 10,000kms and bridgestone potenzas on the back. Can't notice any extreme handling differences between having all 4 potenzas vs my current set up. The seem to be wearing quite evenly as opposed to eating up the sides of the tyres from cornering like I noticed with the bridgestones. I paid about $130 each for them.

Yeah I noticed price wise they are quite cheap but seem to have good reviews. Good to hear from someone actually running them! Cheers

From other reviews on the web they seem bad in the wet and noisy
Edit: Never trust reviews from the people selling them

They aren't overly noisy but at the same time aren't overly quite. Have driven in wet conditions from Hokitika to Christchurch without problems.

They arent too bad, ive had them on the track too. For an average priced tyre they are good. Wear evenly, and have decent grip for what you pay

Had them on my BA and just replaced them with a set of Goodrides. They sound and feel the same to me. I wouldnt say they were anything special. just another budget tyre.

That probably sums it up nicely. Don't expect too much and they are OK.

Neuton NT5000s are abit cheaper and good value for money. ATR Achilles, Nankang NS2 and Neuton NT5000 are all very similar in ride handling, comfort, wear etc. It also depends what you are putting them on though. If you are a normal driver putting it on a family car then you won't have any complaints. But if you are putting them on say a Evo and like to drive hard, then these tyres would be crap.

I have run ATR Achilles on the front only. As a budget tyre they grip well but lack feel and have horrendous road noise. You get what you pay for and to be honest the Nangkang NS2 is a far superior tyre.

Achilles ATR do crack on the side wall. Have seem more then a few do it. I did use Nangkang NS1 and NS2 on my R32 Skyline and I thought they were better then Goodyear F1's i replace them with and Nangkang done about 7000kms more F1's. Also other good tyre at good price is the "Cooper" Starfire RS-R 1.0. I had set of them on P10 Primera and found them not to bad of a tyre and also got pair on my wagon at the moment.
