It'd be cheaper to replace then fixing the actual unit I'd imagine. I got 2 NOS ones for my car for 50 pounds. The fix them would of cost $330 each.

depends on car and where you take it to. dealerships charge arm and a leg. if you can source the part and get garage to do it, it's much cheaper. fixing alot time like mentioned can be much more costly than just replacement.
