Can Am Spyders

Anyone round here have one ! Any or many problems with them ! Have read a few bad things on some forums but don't really know if relevant here. Probably lean towards a manual when time comes, how are the dealers (south island) looking after you !

Cheers :)

Don't own one but have spoken to an owner. He says there different but alot of fun once you get the hang of it. Didnt have anything negative to say about it at all. Just have to be awhere of the width as aposed to a bike. He also owns a new Hayabusa as well as other bikes so knows what hes on about. You certainly see a few about now thats for sure.

I've tried one and quite enjoyed it. Had I not recovered enough to go back to two wheels I was going to buy one. Happily fully recovered though and able to ride two wheels again

its funny how the hard core bikers woudnt ride one unless they were disablled! about time they woke up, the Can Am is a good thing! its not a bike or a car,.its a 3 wheeler

Good programme on them last week on Talking Motorbikes. Did,nt list any South Island dealers though. Must be some as I,ve seen a few down this end.

Thats a bugger missed that one, closest dealer to me is Hubbards in Ashvegas - near enough for me.

Yea, my quad bike didn't like the way I tried to ride it so it ejected me. My own fault, riding way too fast on a track I hadn't ridden before.
Broke my neck at c2-c3. Coming right slowly though.

Yep, ya gotta respect those quads as they don??

Thanks mate.
Have recovered most movement (right hand can be a bit slow when cold) and am slowly recovering the upper body strength I lost. Was a huge shock to the system that's for sure. And I was always the one who got away with doing the dumb things lol. Must have been my turn

Yes, a vehicle which manages to combine the worst aspects of both cars and bikes in one package. (ie the bulk of a car with the exposure to the elements of a bike).

Can't see the point myself.

If you must have a 3 wheeled car then get yourself a Robin Reliant.
