driving along deserted urbanroad at 50kmh, cop car cruises slowly up behind me. He turns on his blue and reds, so I pull over. He overtakes me, then just turns the coloured lights off and proceeds as normal at a slightly increased speed. Puzzled, I thought the coloured lights were for emergency only not for getting past the car in front!

he had just recieved notice from the station that they were down to the last 2 donuts and needed you to move in order to beat the other guy to them, this is classed as an emergency

Doing 160k in a line of 6 or so cars on state highway 1 15 or so years ago.Cop sitting in a side road.He pulls out behind us with red and blues going as we all back of the gas with dread.We all pull over and stop at the same time.He goes past us all.

A bit like the cop on the road between Amberly and Hundalee.Sat in the truck-led convoy, ignored the build-up behind him - and then, on a blind corner, decided to overtake the lead truck and leave all of us behind.If these threads are monitored by police, the cop was in a ute and this was about 4 40 pm, Thursday.

Multi-lane intersection, lights red so I stop, cop in adjacent lane pulls up, waits a second or so, fires the red and blues, cruises against the lights, gets across the intersection, lights go out, he cruises away down the street.
