Just listed a car on here, that hurt

gmphil, Apr 21, 7:06pm
lol rekon that will let u slide

dasfi, Apr 21, 7:07pm
Soon find out

snj11, Apr 21, 7:09pm
yeah it can hurt but realistically with a success fee its around $80 to list and sell a car. Most ads get around 1000 views before they close, you can have 20 full colour photos and write a huge ad.really doesnt seem that bad to me, just think $80 would be lucky to get you a small line ad with a black and white photo in any main paper

dasfi, Apr 21, 7:11pm
Yea but the price of my car can only go downwards, never start lower than what you want.check out what some other crappers are going for on here

magicmat, Apr 21, 7:12pm
Its not a bad price and is very tidy example. I guess you just have to set your minimum price with the fees in mind. But I guess its only worth what someone will pay for it (as me ol' dad used to say).

casper35, Apr 22, 6:29am
Very nice tidy car, i would be happy to pay that for it if i was looking for a car. There is a lot of crap out there for that money. Best of luck.

jason18, Apr 22, 6:35am
Yeah same here! 40 bucks not that bad tho!

What you have there is quite rare indeed (for a Galant anyway.)

Can't believe the ECS is still working! It must have had a loving owner in the past who has replaced the struts with replacement air bag struts rather than cheapening out and fitting standard spring struts like many of the ECS Galants you see around these days.

Looks like it missed out on the leather interior and sun-roof option, but not many people opted for them because the GTi-16V was quite expensive when new as it was.

littlebuckrat, Apr 22, 10:40am
great way to advertise though!

irule, Apr 22, 2:51pm
Just wait until you start dealing with "people" who want to "buy" with "cash in my pocket".

dasfi, Apr 22, 4:24pm
Lol i know , everybody tells me the ecs stuffs out, mine hasnt yet, yea have been searching around, pretty rare, but i would really like a sedan, same shape

fordcrzy, Apr 22, 4:42pm
i remember the great exodus from autotrader when they were charging $80 to list a car.that was just stupid money for a private ad.
dejavu anyone!

phillip.weston, Apr 22, 10:04pm
Well I know of an equally tidy Galant VR-4 sedan of that same shape looking for a loving new owner :P Little bit of a price difference though.

dasfi, Apr 23, 3:24pm
ha ha unfortunalty i dont quite have the price difference, because i know what an origional one is worth
