do some research like can you get parts. like ssangyoung wont sell you parts when you need some years later. Also the build quality its no good to pay 30 grand for a pile of crap when 10 grand more can buy a similar vehicle that parts are available and who have been making cars for way longer.

I was under the impression that they are a Mitsubishi motor with a Holden Colorado body so parts shouldn't be hard to find!

Over here one of the companies that I work with bought 2 4WD diesel utes totest.
The conditions here on site are fairly harsh and the Toyota, Mitsi's, Nissan's and Ford on general average 700 to 1000 km per week.
One lasted 7000kms before the gearbox exploded in a pile and other was removed form service after 16,000km with cracks around the rear suspension.
Like anything they are new to the market and there is still some more improvements needed. But they were reasonably nice to drive and value for money. Give it another 5 years and they will be the same as the rest and it will just come to personal preference.

Yep in 5 years time even intrade will have bought one & admit its an ok ute for the price lol
