Is there a way one can see how many points they have left and when points are given back.
I want to know when I can start speeding again ;) .

Keep that for the race track, not the road.

Call VTNZ, they'll automatically update your details and check your current demerit situation.

well they should build more tracks then. Closest one in welly is all the way in masterton then manfield. If there were more tracks around there prob be less boy racers n hoons using public road. Nt that i do that but i know sbout of people that do n i often ask them why race on the street! Most say there's lsck of close by tracks. Moneys to get in is not the issue but the time it takes to get to the nearest track.

Balls. Some of the cities with the biggest problems have a close track (eg Chch, P North). Yes the boys want tracks, but they want FREE tracks.

OK so how much do they charge average bloke to enter the drags! is it always available for use say thursday, fri or sat night!or only for club meets! cos its no good only have it open once in a blue moon. perhaps the city council of these troubled cities needs to look at organising with the owner of the tracks to work a deal to attract the thursday-sat night hoons into the tracks to take them off the road rather than tieing up police resources trying to control a riot. you can say it's not council responsibility but if the city has serious boy racer issues, it is city council responsibility. closing a car park down and moving large crowd from one part of town to another is not the solution. might as well keep them in a big car park rather than have them spilling on the street.you can never get rid of them but you can contain them.

the issue with CHCH and P north is that their grounds are so flat anyway so it attacts these sort of activity.

Digression kicks in as normal.
You should still have the tickets in your glove-box mopar. So get them out and add 24 months to the date of issue - that's when the points fall off.
I even built a spreadsheet (when I drove for a living) that kept track of the points. A bit scary sitting on 95 for about 9 months. Prompted me to buy a radar detector.
Now all the "Goody two shoes" will come out and tell me I shouldn't speed.

Now that's commitment. Enough tickets to justify a spreadsheet to keep a track of them.I salute you sir!

No i pay my bills and don't file them so the ticket gets binned once paid.
My driving has only gotten better over the last 20 odd years but all my tickets have come now. I got two tickets over 20 years and in the last two year about $3500 worth. So more cops on the road or more money needed maybe
