Rare Spares in Chch have 2 types. Unsure if its self amalgamating though. B11669 WIRING HARNESS TAPE (CLOTH TYPE 3/4" WIDE (30M ROLL) or K0067 WIRING HARNESS TAPE (3CM X 30.48MTRS)

Did a bit of googling and now not so sure that selfamalgamating is actually what i need.I'm rewrapping a wiring loom. It's BMC and was wrapped in what looks like insulation tape but has no adhesive.Have been told that I shouldn't use insulation tape as it will bleed glue over time. What do the experts here think!

You can also get this heatshrink tape:

Or use the Japanese style corrugated split tubing.

I've always used amalgamating tape.

You want self amalgamating tape. You can even get stuff with a BMC part number, although it is all pretty much the same.

Definitely don't use insulation tape.
