I never did understand why people buy new cars for so much. You could easily buy a VERY nice 2nd hand Evo that would thrash that around any corner or straight on the planet and still have just as much room in the back for passengers and boot space to spare (for the dead strippers.)!

The difference here is torque.the s2000 makes 220nm at 6,500 rpm.thats the newer models, the 2000-2003 model make 218 at 7,500 rpm.The renault makes 270~ at 1900 rpm.even without running the numbers i can guarantee the renault will stomp the s2000 0-60.and generally be a more relaxed drive.

Bet its just another normal car, with a bit more power, dressed up a bit to make it seem fast. The connection between driver and road will be minimal and you will never feel like you are really in control - like most new cars. I couldn't care how slow or bad handling a car is, as long as the feel is good I'm happy.
