He guys, got to make it to Merton road over in St Johns / Glen Innes by 8.30 I'll be going on to the tristram road on ramp at about 7.30 am. I have to get through the city, over the bridge, in to fanshawe street, to Tamkaki Drive, then up Ngappi rd / kepa rd to Kohimaramara Road then over to Glen Innes / Merton Road. Is that doable in 1 hour, or am I dreaming!

Yeah you should be able to do that in 1 hour. I'd allow between 45-60 mins for that trip. But, auckland traffic is so changeable, it might be less or it might even take longer

Good luck to you! At least it'll be fine weather.

It can take up to 30 mins to get onto the motorway, depends on the ramp lights. Actual Motorway driving time should be no issue

Maybe possible. What sort of motorbike will you be riding!

Getting to and over the harbour bridge will be your biggest issue . once over the bridge and into the city your heading in the opposite direction to work traffic . 1 hour would be spot on i'm thinking , you could do it in 45min but 1 hour is a good time to allow for muppets who have broken down

cheers every one. Just found out thunderbolt is correct. Its the on ramp thats going to kill it.As thunderbolt says, its going to take up to 30 mins just to get on to the motorway. Who was the complete and utter fool that thought up the on ramp traffic lights. Why do people even bother to take notice of them! Oh well. Looks like I'll just have to get up earlier and take bubs with me. :-(
Thanks for all the input guys, but its just not a doer as I have just learnt.

Leave early & drop "bubs" at Sky City.

Nope, I dont "want to do this in rush hour". I dont actually have a choice. I have to do it during rush hour. But I see your point. I wonder if you could ring the company I have to go to and ask them if they can change their appointment to 4.30 am for me please intrade;-)
