she was checking here visa statement off with her reciepts yesterday, in february she purchased $40 gas which she allways does, she has been charged for $107 worth, guys and girls allways check your purchase at the time, it was at a certain gas station in godley rd., greenbay, seems that she has paid for someone elses gas for a week.

I've never been a victim of credit card fraud, but workmates have been, and they have all found Visa excellent to deal with.

she has a receipt for $40, it obviously has a transaction number on it, and that transaction number ties in with the statement which shows a greater sum than the reciept . she needs to take both to the bank, a fraud has taken place and her visa conditions will allow for reimbursment

the bank will investigate how it came about that a receipt could have a fraudulent amount or a different amount on it than the actual transfer manifest did, they will have police assistance if they consider it to have been deliberate

First approach the garage manager with your statements, if no luck approach the bank. Only the bank will know if said garage is regularly investigated by them. Tell the bank, if the garage has a clean record they will want to keep it.

go the bank first; let them deal with it, if they have a dishonest client they need to know and sort it out, if you try the SS first and they refund it , it doesn't actually get back to the bank so it could continue with other customers

I am guilty of often signing Visa receipts without fully checking them, but generally agree the pump amount with the attendant. As my fuel bill is normally around the $100 mark for diesel and also for petrol, when I check the the visa bill, I doubt I would notice an error, BUT, I do log all fuel and mileage and have done since 1964, so I could check if I needed to. I'd go back to the petrol station first, but I'd also ring Visa, regardless of the outcome.If your wife was overcharged, someone else was undercharged, but they may not notice.

Think your Mrs screwing round on you and just using paying for the extra gas as an excuse, buying bulk loads of ribbed condoms . attendant can see on the counter panel whats up - paying for another persons gas lollol talented woman to be able to drive two cars at once , no wonder her bit on the side into her .
