Reminds me of the sea nymph type ones.Good for lakes (with the flatter hull), good for waterskiing (big engine, little boat). Is it glass over ply (if so, have the bumpers worn away any fiberglass, are any panels inside starting to rot)! With a NICE new paint, AND outboard in good working order (I assume it's been sitting a while), I would start it at $4000.As is.!. umm, a grand to start, as a project! Is the trailer legal!Good tyres!Does it come with new lifejackets (just asking as a 'bonus' item, not because I expect it would)!Honestly, all that and you might still lose money.Best of luck.

If yur trailor has a rego and wof the whole rig could be listed for 4k and if someone offers 3k then take it, its all old but probably looks good, the hull may be sound but it may not be with age and use. 21/2 to 3k would be a good buy.

Well what the heck do you want! An appraisal!.then give the lads a bit of info to go on. You want someone to tell you it's worth mega-bucks !. it isn't. Take the sensible answers you've been given, . average them out, & list it at auction with that as your reserve. Or, do what many sellers unsure of value do. list it with a $1 reserve. It's coming into winter, & there's a lot of boats out there for sale. this is the most trafficked website in NZ. if you're gonna sell a boat at this time of year, . it's probably going to happen on trademe.

I'd actully like to see a few more pics of that hull. And on the rear at the top of the sides is the manufactureres label- There may be a plate inside by where the outboard mounts-with a name on it. However a close up pic of the remains of the label on the side at the rear will help. [Possibly an early Haines Hunter-by the looks of the label and planing strakes-either way it's in the 2 K sorta region hull and trailer are worth more than the motor-weird how the transom is raised both sides-]

Sorry you ask for opinion the ones you do not like, You attack The fact it is old boat old motor Is it running! whats trailer like! reg wof! it is only a lake boat.in my opinion

I'm pretty sure it's a Glasskraft 13'6".I had one in the '80's, but this one looks to have had the rear modified. It is a very old boat, I would guess early to mid '70s, and seems to have repairs on the rear. The motor is late '70s / early '80s, and if it goes well, has even compressions and not corroded under the covers, it's worth $2,500 - $3,500.But you never know. so If it were me, I would list it at a start of $2,000 and reserve $2500.
Just had a better look at the photos' and I think I was too high. It's a rough steel painted trailer, and the hull has had a plate put over the transom, which suggests the transom may be dodgy.Probably $2k.

LOL, that just might apply to to more than one of the Johns on this MB!

Trailer has no reg or wof, primer patches are not patch up jobs im a panelbeater and was in the process of prep to paint (project I never got around to finishing) Not running just needs a magneto. Plate on the back is to hold a bigger motor. Will go have a look for labels/plates soon in the places stated.

I hate to tell you but I've seen a few tidy, non runner's sell recently for around the $1000 mark. If it's not running it might as well not even have a motor. You'd be better to spend the time & get it runningas this will greatly affect the interest & price you get.

$1500 for the boat and trailer considering it is painted and not galv.$1000 for the motor if it is running and reliable. If i got that for it i would be happy.Old boats an motors can be more trouble than they are worth.cheers, let us know how you get on.

when I went to buy my first boat a mate said 'a boat without a motor is worth nothing, a boat is worth the motor on the back, dont buy a boat without a motor or one that doesnt run'. he's right, for the price of a good motor you can buy the similar motor already on a boat

Well with the added info, the motor is worth parts because its not running, the hull is a barge so it would be dangerously silly to put a bigger motor on it, the trailor is no rego or wof so thats an unknown as well and it now needs painting so list it for 1k and take anything over 650 bux, cheers.
