swarms of midge like things flying around, like oversized sandflies, not biting but bloody annoying. Spoilt the day & ended up coming home way earlier than we would have.

some pretty cool stuff there IMO, lots of variety, by tomorrow the nerves will have gone, theyll have the hang of the track & it could get interesting

Bit late now jerichord - but nice to see you there! MG car Club had their annual Kimber breakfast run.Fantastic turnout of MGs, including two of the brand new ones - a hatchback and a sedan. Several Formula Juniors were non-starters for Sunday, but an amazing pre 1945 sports carsturnout. Pre 1960s could have done with a few more entries, but nice to see the great grand-daddy of my car there! The Speedex. Decent number of pre 1963 motorbikes and Vintage Speedway midgets having to deal with a clockwise track! Next year - should be April 13th/14th.
Insects weren't bad at all today.
