Whos to foot the bill

6 months ago one of my workmates brought a 2001 Toyota Fielder from a car yard and had no problems with it untill she took it for a wof today and i failed on the rear subframe rusting and the lower rear arms rusting.

Also any advice on the best course of action to deal with this as she only found out at 4:45 when she picked the car up from the garage.

Best course of action is visit the car yard and VERY NICELY ask them what they can do.
