Nice Vid! looks like a what was discussed and reviewed by Throughbred & Classic Cars over 10 years ago when the collector was still alive I recognixe the special and Crosby Wagon - He was very much into motor bikes and his earlier life himself and his brother prepared speedway bikes! (Also there were rumors of oil money) hence the collection of motorcycles! - he even had a rare Pullman Limousine hearse I have a look in my database index and see if i can find that article

are you talking Humber Pullman, or is there another Pullman
way back 45 yrs ago as an apprentice there was an old Humber Pullman engine out the back of the shed Bores bolted to the crankcase, crank bolted together, genuine old Humber Pullman took 2 yrs to rebuild that engine from a pile of rust to an overbored then sleeved back, welded then machined to original journals, rebuilt the cam the same way ( and built new teeth for the timing gears)
learnt how to usethe machines required by the boss giving instructions then standing back hands in pockets
fired it up just short of my second year then someone wanted it to fit to a genuine Pullman body so swapped it for a 37 dodge from under his trees thus started the panel repair part of my apprenticeship

Jesus! I nearly died when I saw them using an adjustable crescent on the spark plugs of the Henderson in their "temporarily workshop. I thought it sad to be splitting up, or to quote them "Sharing" such a collection. Nice vids to watch all the same. Thanks for the link.

Surely they would have had to put in fresh fuel and give the barrells a presoak of oil or something before kicking them over! Wouldnt they have risked scoring the barrells just kicking them over after sitting for so many years!

Yep they had done what was necessary before bring'n them to life.though on some of the footage it looks as though they just gave'em a boot and Bob's ya uncle.

was thinking the same, considering the price & rarity of the bikes a few bucks on a plug socket wouldnt have been too much to ask

It does say a few times they did prep them, thats why so much smoke, burning off the oil mix etc down the bores
