just got home from Beach Hop; another AWSUM week at Whangamata with so many fine vehicles from a mobile couch to a Landrover and caravan to many rat rods including a damn fine example from Chch,to many many , over a thousand registered and about that many again intown ,just to be there. AWSUM !Thanks to Noddy and "The Crew" See you all again next year.

It was orsum as you say. Its great to see how much care and attention, not to mention $$$$$ some people spend on their pride and joy. The Parade took nearly 2 1/2 hours to pass.
But there was something there worse than that but I won't say what it was because the owners might be on here and be offended.
I took about 350 photos and I could have taken 3 times that amount.

And has anyone got a copy of the photo of the car backed through the back of the garage. I saw it at the Boat Club having a beer. Thought it would have been in circulation by now.lol

Im sure I saw "the" Toyota - it was pimped up as a 46 Ford or was it a Chevy!
Saw it in the parade and didnt really like it. Had a close look at it later on and it was perfect. Very unusual but the guy built it from scratch, not just modified something else. Credit where its deserved.

what about that rat rod from christchurch, an amazing work of art. the more you looked the more things came out at you. the guys mates reckon he got locked in his shed and got bored and built a car from everything in there, truely a work of mobile art.I would put up a picky but I dont know how.Yes I know yur amazed but I dont, alright.

I have to agree with you I think it needed a longer nose,I spoke to the guy he had nose cone open
