I thought they were ditching the Falcon all together!

Nothing wrong with all wheel drive. Realistically the world has moved on, there is just an ever dwindling pool of"Bogans" uninformed knuckle draggers left who think that you need rear wheel drive and a large capacity engine to get the job done.

should ditch em all together.

foxdonut, May 18, 12:09pm
AWD > RWD.

We're at a point now with E-diff and electronic aides that AWD offers better performance, practicality and safety than simple RWD. It also opens up the option for electric engine assisted wheels and a whole lot of other features.

Just another reason to buy a Ford over a Holden imo.

Stink! :-(

Oh and welcome back friendly_prawn :-)

redpheonix9, May 18, 1:44pm
what difference does it make, as far as the handling of the ford falcon goes, if it has rear wheel drive, or all wheel drive!

oh, and my mum says to say hi to you, bellky, and to let you know that she hasnt been banned, she is just very busy with work and stuff at the moment.

friendly_prawn, May 18, 1:52pm
cheers belky.

bellky, May 18, 1:52pm
Cool thanks Chris, but I don't believe it because all her post are gone!!; unless she self-banned!

friendly_prawn, May 18, 1:53pm
4WD is fine. FWD isnt.

I could never see myself buying a fwd falcon.

richardmayes, May 18, 1:56pm
And you complain about people trolling your VW posts.

Recent Falcons are nice cars. A straight 6 and RWD isn't the ONLY way to get the job done, but it's a pretty good setup for a big car with a bit of power.

bellky, May 18, 2:01pm
Not necessarily NEED 'rear wheel drive and a large capacity engine to get the job done' but just like the sound and feel of V8 throbbing away and the power on tap if needed, not to mention the size and presence of such a vehicle.

redpheonix9, May 18, 2:03pm
she self banned, because she has just started a new job, and she is also looking after two houses, and she was struggling to keep up with all of the packing of her parcels to her trade me buyers, because her car is in the shop at the moment, but she will be back on deck, and selling stuff on trade me again, within about a week or so, once she has got accustomed to her new job, and her car is fixed, and she only has to deal with one house, bellky

friendly_prawn, May 18, 2:06pm
Yep but i bet those same knuckle draggers will have the sense not to turn to crappy unreliable expensive European P.O.S.

bellky, May 18, 2:06pm
Farout, big things happening for her. Cool. Thanks for teliing me :-)

Check out the date of the OP's article January 2011.

Here's hoping, I need someone to look smugly at from the comfort of my superior vehicle while waiting at the lights.

shelleigh, May 18, 5:00pm
Have you bought a Nissan Juke Jazz!
