At least when you get to my age and the grim reaper calls, you have had long enough to have achieved most of what you wanted. Arguing with fools at my age is often fun, as they have absolutely no idea whether or not you are serious - and you don't really care what they think of you anyway!

Well aren't you a charmer. since you want to lecture henderson_guy on statistical analysis,. I note you didn't even bother mentioning that the arithmetic mean, which is usually associated by most people (yourself included, no doubt) with the average, is in this case perfectly acceptable, since the sample size, ( being the population of NZ, or the world- you choose) is large enough for the arithmetic mean, the average, & even the median to be virtually interchangeable. In a country the size of NZ, It would take 10,000 more people than the global average distribution with an abnormally high ( or low) IQ, to even marginally skew the results to the point where differentiation between the median, the average, & the mathematical mean, was valid statistically. . .besides which, what is the point of using technically accurate terms when similies that your intended audience will get without any loss in the validity of the statement will convey the pont ! .I enjoyed henderson_guy's statement. didn't you! .How's the air up there !. . . chill, dude.:)
