From those with one, either a BA Falcon or VT onwards Commodore, do you know how much it's costing you per 100km of highway running! No load just cruising on 110kmh ish.

How does that compare with round town running! Still on par with petrol or a little bit more! That said, still alot cheaper though.

My current BA 5.4 V8 Fairlane va[our unjection 11l/100km Caltex and Mobil seem to have the cheapest LPG around 1.27-1.32 a litre so that is about $14 to 14.5 per 100km. not bad for a V8. 9l/100km on 91 so 20 bux per 100km. My old AU Falcon 4.0 was 10.5 l/100km on mixer set up and 7.6l/100km on 91. The AUs are better on gas that the BA 4.0.

Time to get a rockgas card if your paying that much for LPG.

Don't you have to purchase a certain amount of litres/month to use the rockgas card!

havent got one myself but talking to a taxi driver who reckons cost of installing the units (apparently 4-5K), now outweighs fuel savings,a mate who is in that sort of industry has heard similar from a few different sources. but I spose if you buy one already set up itll be all good

Chris_051. I also was worried about that, and just about didnt apply, I had read lots of rumours pertaining to the high km's, or value of gas used. Most of which turned out to be the condtions if you are applying for conversion loan and NOT just for gas card. Process take about 4 weeks, and if you use there own fill up point like P/N taxi's its even cheaper.

there is no volume minimum with the rock gas card
