yes but then the car wouldnt start due to the transopnder not working in the key.well thats how it is with the vt anyway.

Off to Mr Minit or Holden dealer then to get a new key programmed!Not cheap from memory.

they have a lug on the key and a ring around the ignigtion place.i thought the charge would run the rf thing instantly.

you can still use the key to open.my transopnder is broken to on my vt,,i just use the key an still starts.$160+ for a new key.buggr that.
