Off topic but put to a forum of more 'realistic readers' than found in some of the other forums. Everytime you read the news . some f&#ker has hurt his baby . beat his pet to death . raped someones grandma or robbed the life savings of those who didn't deserve it. We a being bombarded with nebulous sh1t news about events that mean nothing whilst our young people leave in droves for a better life in other countries. Anything you say in public needs to be well thought out because of thinned skinned, politically correct, namby pamby busybodies who have nothing better to do than call you a racist or apeman or whatever. We live during times where a normal bloke might think twice before being left in a room alone with his 13 year old niece because he has seen what has happened to other blokes who have since been found innocent but can never get back the years taken from them and get rid of the stigma forever attached to them when new DNA proves he didn't touch her or whatever. And whatever f#%king happens to her! Grrrrr. Rant nearly over . How the f%#k can two babies get killed, there are 12 suspects yet the cops can't get a conviction! This is clearly a case where all of our well meaning do-gooder laws . personal rights etc have transpired against commonsense, hamstrung the authorities, resulting in a less than acceptable outcome, gawd!
We need to get ahold of that pendulum that has swung way too far over to the namby pamby, gutless side of the clock and bring it back to middle ground. Ok, rant over .but I know there are others out there that feel the same.

Fully agree trader_84. Here's an example how f*#ked up our laws are: If 4 of us went for a drive in a car & 1 of us shot someone out the window that makes the other 3 of us accessories to murder. So why dont they just make them ALL accessories to murder & I bet one of those gutless pigs spills the beans. The problem in NZ is exactly what is already being said in this thread by others. rocker_553, smac & johnf_456 are great examples. So you 3 think it's fine that 2 babies get beaten, smashed about, crushed chests & not one person has been held accountable for it do you! It's the poor attitude of people like you 3 who allow this sort of thing to happen, because obviously you think it doesnt matter. My comment had nothing to do with the so called issues you copied and pasted from where ever.My comment was relating to the nonsensicaland completely idiotic way your comments were strung together. I read and reread your post and still do not understand what your actual point is. Do I think child abuse is 'ok' or acceptable in some way! Absolutely not. Do I think the media sensationalise the issue of the moment, and dumb down what they report so half wits think the world is ending, all in the quest for ratings! Absolutely. My advise to you is to take some time to understand the issues that the media choose to make the headlines each day. If you care enough to comment, care enough to actually find out what happened rather than just mouthing off with someone else's opinion. Have the bravery to form your own opinion.
