Cert or no Cert

Would like to change my Nissan Navara Diesel ute to a petrol using the petrol motor from a Navara, it will bold straight in without any modifications, will i need a cert for this or do i just got to vtnz and say its a petrol now!

Look at section 4.3
Unfortunatly as you are changing fuels you will need a cert

you also will have to change the gear ratio dont know if its done in the transmission or the differential. plus you have to change all and every fuel hose as they desintigrate with other fuel flowing thru em. usually they burn to the ground after you got the cert all done i seen plenty burned out conversions.

they are metal fuel lines

Only the main length of the fuel line is steel.There is definitely still going to be a flexible fuel hose at the engine/filter end and many also have another flexible hose at the tank.

thats not a problem, I have access to a whole deregistered petrol navara

the petrol one is rusted out and is a real dog, my diesel one is mint condition, just want petrol as the diesel one TD23 is a bit gutless and continuously paying RUC when you rack up 5000kms a month.

Vechile is 2wd D21 Navara, thought about repowering with TD27 Turbo, but is a bit expensive at this stage.
