Cool old Brit car; no power and handles like a lead brick on a roller-skate (I owned one once). I can??

'tis indeed a minter .always get a shock, aye, when I see the older more common Brit cars restored well. .they just look so familiar from our ( well, my ) childhood & younger years,. only usually in pretty "average" cond, back then, though. & sadly, same olstory. you're quite right. worth 1/2 what the resto bill would've been.

Nice to see one on the road (they were just old slow crap when I was young) but they'll never get the $ and the colour is OTT. It would look much better in mint green or white or lemon. I used to like the Californians - in cream and black.

What a beautifully-restored example of a really unlovely, unexciting car!
You could be driving a MkII Daimler V8 for that money.

yes but if you REALLY wanted it trying restoring one for that money you wouldnt have a s.t show :)

Where is the engine! That bay is 90% empty!

i love how the old car is getting the posts of admiration mainly & his parking (the threads topic) is mainly getting ignored
thread = another piece of evidence that old car fans have bias towards what they are willing to forgive
