Thanks guys, got quote from Repco for $80 for a new one and approx cost to rebuild is $150.

supernova2, May 28, 6:25pm
Thought you might find that to be the case.Did you bother to get an OEM quote as well!

smac, May 29, 6:16am
That will be the case for more 'common' models. Although a look into the quality one rebuilt here in NZ versus a new one off the shelf might be interesting. For older or oddball stuff rebuilt tends to cost less.

OEM is no longer available, which i dont realy beileve somehow, but never mind.

The place I named said a mini one was about $160. Don't see why that would be too much different for other vehicles. Only one way to find out.

treachug, May 29, 8:20pm
what sort of vehicle/engine!

jason_247, May 30, 6:54am
rebuild it with an arc welder

then do a skid to wear it in
