How to sell a registered shell

smac, May 28, 7:29am
I'm about to sell a body shell that is still registered (LVV certed in fact). Has glass, but no doors, running gear, exhaust, suspension, brakes, interior etc.

What do you think will get more views, sell as vehicle, or under parts!

vehicle I should imagine.
I only say that because I very rarely ever go in to parts my self. Im like many others, always cruising listings, dreaming about, what if I were a rich man. :-)

what is it out of interest smac!

mmm.guess I was thinking a shell isn't going to be much use to someone looking for a whole car, but might be of interest to a serial parts collector.

i'd go under vehicles, seen as it's still registered. I can see people will go for it because it's got live plates/tags (which they can stick on thier de-reg mini as it may cost them more to get thier mini re-vinned than to buy your shell ). more bites that way i think.

They basically split rolling bodies into 2 piles.

1) If its near complete , still registered and only needs abit of work to be running , its classed under a vehicle

2)If its dereged , only good for parts , not worth putting back on the road , its classed as a wrecked car

Well this is in neither pile.

Oh and it's not rolling, I robbed most of the suspension :P

yeah , it'll get withdrawn if you put it in parts trust me lol. Plus it will get more views in vehicles
