Heard about that'y no more than 3kms from my home, geezzz what a spive!
Haven't noticed any bent B1600 utes that color in any wreckers lately either, funny that.
Probably still being used as a farm hack up Cromwell way I suspect, just as well he didn't roll it down the next bend as he would have either hit the end of the one way bridge just around next bend or missed the bridge and ended up in the Manuherikia River approx 50' below!

This video is about 7 years old! All of a sudden people seem to think it has just happened

mothergoose_nz, May 25, 11:48am
so is there a camera there.if it isnt staged how did it get filmed.

zephyrheaven, May 25, 4:45pm
Stuff (the pretty average 'news' website) had it on their page yesterday, breaking news for them is generally 7 years old

motorboy2011, May 25, 5:15pm
yeah just like that helli crash on the news a while ago.totally staged.

ema1, May 25, 5:23pm
Was known about down here a while back but I didn't think it was 7 years ago though, thought it was more recent than that, heck time flies!
I recall seeing the gauge marks on the road back a while and didn't think a lot about it at the time.

Crossing the center line, failing to give way, travelling on the wrong side of the road, failing to remain stopped after an accident.

ema1, May 25, 11:03pm
Defies all logic really doesn't it, I certainly don't condone that sort of behaviour at all period, god knows how he didn't get injured or indeed killed!
Heard about it locally but just who I haven't a clue.
