Hi there, is it normal to list a deregistered vehicle without actually stating it is, and thinking that selecting the "excludes on road costs" option explains it!

I have asked the seller a question and got a snarky reply, and it is now stated in the answers that if the auction gets to $10,000 her hubby wil consider re-registering it.

If the vehicle has registration that has lapsed for over 12 months it is a pain in the rear and expensive to get it back on the road.

477382093 the registration has lapsed, but they haven't made it totally clear in their auction, luckly I checked it on carjam before my partner placed a bid! Seller looks to be deceitful in their wording and could catch someone else unaware!

lol @ "considering" re-registering it if it sells for over 10k

The registration number is clearly visable. I doubt anyone would bid at 8k no reserve without checking the registration status. Do you. Carjam updated yesterday.

Not everyone knows about carjam, I just feel that the seller hasn't clearly stated the vehicle is deregistered.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! You can't say you always abide by the TradeMe terms and conditions on the message board!

I don't recall saying that.

Well why quote the rules to me! You sound like a corrupt cop!
