They work well on small parts but certainly aren't quick.I run glass bead in mine and it does a great job.The one problem I found with mine was the size of the filter.They are located in the back right corner of the cabinet and constantly block so I have added an exhaust elbow to the outside of the cabinet and put a large pod filter on top of it.Means that I can just give the filter a tap every now and then and the dust falls back into the cabinet.

Sounds like you need a blow off valve too! If I was buying one I'd want it to be big enough to fit a car wheel in it.

I got one of those, The fluro light didn't last long but aside from that its all good for that price.

Can't see me fitting a BOV to anything, let alone a sandblaster cabinet :o)
Flouro light is obviously the weak point as mine has packed up too.Its surprising how big a part you can fit in these things.

i got a similar unit not from supercheap, as above, the light didn't last long and it was the shop demo unit. I needed to pull it apart and silicone all the joins as it leaked, the pod filter sounds like a good mod too.
