Her friends drive Subby's, DX's and Starlet's, I said to her why not buy the DX her friend has for sale and her response was "dad, they never raced a DX at Bathurst, don't think so!".lol.based on that remark I think I'll help save for her for her first LH/X Torana.

Her initials are SLR, she's got a tidy wee amount saved and is doing well, ofcourse the car she wants is an SLR5000, even if it's just a LH with a SLR kit, she liked my last LX I got rid of an I know of a 2dr V8 LX tucked away that's collecting dust that I are trying to talk the owner in departing with.she wants to do the Bathurst thing soon too.

I thought this might be the case. I remember Celicas racing for sure. Someone must have raced an AE86 Corolla on the touring car circuit too I bet.
Once the body rust starts popping out in something like that and that cheap. It will be like terminal cancer.

They raced KE30 Corollas at Bathurst, usually the SRCoupe but never the later KE70 shape often referred to as the "DX", because by then the AE86 was available that made a better platform.
