don't jump down my neck i have searched online and on here just need clarification.
my work truck has one set of chains (4wd mitsi triton) i have worked out how to fit them (first winter in queenstown) and have been reading/ talking to people etc and am still unsure on best way to use. front or rear wheels.
front get more grip, better braking etc but more risk of losing the rear end, rear wheels go in a straight line good but stopping and turning suffer. and I know I should have 2 sets but if I did i wouldn't be asking would I

Are they -diamond- shaped or go straight across the tyre! Straight arent much good on the front as they dont stop sideways slippage and are best on the back. If they're diamond I put em on the front, especially if goin downhill.
