Some of the over exaggeration on some of these adds is funny. I was just reading one add that states "and he reckoned it was worth in the region of $14000 and has seen similar bikes going offshore for over $20,000" Yeah because some one says it, it must be true eh! Another common one is "very rare" when its a standard vehicle.
As if people cant see straight through the bull dust.
I guess as they say "god loves a tryer" though. Well doesnt he!

I cant understand how some guys advertise hotted up cars yet cany give 1/4 mile times or any dyno readings. Plenty of 'built to make XXX hp' yet Ive seen many big dollar motors perform well below expectations. No engine bay photos either & that goes for any car, a lot is shown by how well a car is looked after there as well as shiney paint

I looked at an advertised 450hp Holden V8 a while back. My grandma's 1600cc Honda would have eaten it. But then was that an exaggaration, or was it just plain B.S!

That doesnt work just needs to be plugged back in = the whole system is screwed the ecu is fried from my own attempts.l I cut the plugs off and lost them and cross threaded every bolt I could find, while losing vital parts. I may have also left some bits from my other car in there as well I also left it sitting in the rain.

'All the hard work done, just needs finishing'. have actually seen this on a T Bucket 'project' that was a rough chassis (that even from distant photos I could see the welds were shite) a diff & front end dummy mounted, a bare body sat on top & a bare block sitting on wood blocks between that rails

You have to wonder what's between their ears ! Surely to goodness they must realize that one, people can see that it's a piece of crap which is worth a fraction of what they are asking, and secondly as soon as someone actually saw it in the flesh they would run a mile !
