Im repainting the old girl & want some opinions on colours at the moment its the ugly aqua marine. I like the original greens, barbados green, jamaican green,panama green or do i go for the new holden atomic green which looks fantastic.Is so hard what do you think!

My old Man had a monaro in the orange/blk colours, it was somehtign liek Mandarin orange and looked like the same colour asd the SLR';s.Whatever you do trim it in blk, they look good with SLR down the side too.

Dont paint it a modern colour, they look good fo about 5mins. Classic colours for classic cars.

What does the factory tag say! If you recolour it you will have to do every bit of panel by only tearing it to bits. Otherwise, just imagine the car in various colours, and remember. not every shape suits every colour.

Agree.
Especially when there are a lot of chrome mouldings and bumpers present.
Late model colours can be bright and shiny enough, without the addition of mirror finished chrome.

that orange colour holden used was called post office red and it didnt even look red, I painted a statsmen in the same colour in 2k and was a real eye catcher.

my 76 torana is 2k black and looks cool with all the chrome and white, also think aboult your interior and wheel combos so everything flows together.
