Was only happening intermittently, but now its permanent. If i indicate left, it's going twice as fast as normal. Any common causes! Starting to get annoying haha.

You have a blown indicator bulb somewhere on the left hand side of the car.

Ok, you caught me. I just have a very recent experience of my 70 yr old mother ringing me to say that she thought she had a blown indicator bulb because one side was flashing faster. Just one of those things you think is common knowledge.
