Scam Warning? - Malaysian PayPal Txt & Email

I listed my car for auction last night and today received a txt from an inquisitive buyer asking me to email them, which I did, and then I received this email in reply.

Thanks for getting back to me, so sorry that i couldn't call you due
to the nature of my work as a Sailor, the best way to
get a hold of me is through this email, What is your asking price for
this vehicle because i am getting this car for my father in law, I am
presently in Malaysia where i work based on job transfer. You can get
back to me with more pictures of the car.I will be handling the pick
up of this merchandise through a legitimate shipping agent that has
their headquarter situated in Malaysia and the Pick up agent will
handle all necessary document needed to get the car shippeddown to
Malaysia including the transfer of ownership, all they will require of
you is your signature. The pick up will be arranged right after the
payment has been made to your account and the only way i can make the
payment for quick sale is through PayPal because they will ensure a
safe transaction for us and they will also arrange the pick up agent
that will pick the car from you after the payment.

What do you think! Sound like a scam much! Maybe the old, put a bit too much in, take a bit too much out of the account, if the paypal account is real to begin with! Anyone else come across this!

Thanks for the details, My trade me account is yet awaiting
verification because i registered out of new zealand but that
shouldn't be a problem, I have read everything about the car on the
website and everything is okay by me. I have actually tried to get
this car here earlier from here but most of the ones I got either have
one huge mechanical fault or the other and some have even had
accidents in the past while some are extremely exorbitantcost-wise.
As to the price, Your Price is Ok. So if you think the offer good is

Hi everyone,

This is definitely a scam, do not respond to those emails.

The scammer will email you saying they are happy to pay the full amount for your vehicle, and will be paying via Pay Pal. They will then send you a fake invoice purporting to come from pay pal confirming ???payment??
