Looks like the Australian Govt wants it more than us, they are putting $5mil into it next year, I suppost if was rugby our lot would spend the same but not for motorsport.

Aussie gets it next year anyway. We only get it every 2nd year according to the agreement with them and Rally NZ organisers.

rallying in NZ shows the new zealand country side to 100's of millions of people around the world.what better way to sell NZ. much better than the world seeing the inside of a crappy rugby stadium. The government should realise just what they are screwing up by not supporting the WRC.

I know we only have it every two years, was at Rally Australia last year, and will be at Rally NZ this year, with so many other places wanting it, it wont take much to loose it

I think the only thing keeping it here at the moment is that it's a driver favorite. and you are right twink, it won't take a whole lot to loose it at all.
