Hey kaz.You may be correct, but in our view he's still pretty good at what he does. But you do make a good point.

You could try the Vale Rossi fan club, I think they were pretty good mates back in the day when Biaggi was mixing it with the big boys.

Yea yea I know. Fact is the man rides a bike faster than I can even dream of doing.Put him on ANY of the 600ss bikes here or even dare I say the thous and he'd likely clean up. --OR WOULD HE. Stroudy and co are pretty good so it'd be interesting to see how the likes of rossi or biaggi would do

Thats the problem with racers here in NZ, most think they are better than what they are and spend 1000's of dollars that comes to nothing. The best kiwi rider I have seen in the last 20 years on a road racing circuit is Stefan Merriman, he had the F2 lap record at Ruapuna on a '94 fzr 600 (4JH) for a long time (in fact may still have it) and it was only his first RR season in NZ, he was just off Strouds lap record on the Britten in the same year! Stefan could of been nz's next roadracing world champ but went back to Enduro's and won several world championships. unfortunately for aussie.

I guess you couldn't see that I'm extracting the urine. Theres not enough racing here and not serious enough competition for those that might be or have been really good. Im always in utter awe watching the 600 guys overseas right one the edge of crashing in every corner lap after lap. If any of the current crop of kiwi 600 yunguns could get to the UK or Usa and do in the week in week out race circuitI think if they have the talent they would come back as national champ. It will be VERY interesting to see just how fast Avalon Biddle is after a season racing overseas
