I PULLED THE RUNNING GEARS OUT OF EA FALCON THEN ONCE BACK IN & RUNNING THE FRIKIN THINGS STAYING IN 2ND.ANY IDEAS HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PEOPLE

No genious here, but is it an auto! it may be the auto select switch that needs cleaning! They can get pretty gunked up & cause limp sluggish or stuck gears. food for though, but like i said, no genious

I don't know anything about falcons or what running gears are, but my subaru defaults to 2nd gear if you disconnect the electrics. I accidentally left the earth wire off when putting the auto trans back together and it had the same symptoms. Does it change gears when you redline it!

What running gears did you pull out!
It normally defaults to 2nd or 3rd gear in limp mode. Easiest way to test is to scan the ECU and see what code comes up.
