If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour. you're gonna see some serious shit.

You've got a good sense of humour mate. It's good to see you'll be Soon specializing in "SMALL" repairs.
kazbanz,

with 6 kids Its safe to say that the motor may or may not be short stroke--definitely big bore but unquestionably efffective

Geez. How do I reply to that statement!
Here goes:So it's still under Warranty then!

Check the CGA (o:
Is it being used for it's intended porpose! Has it had regularservices!

Good call, they drive Multipla's. they should know what to do about Econovan abuse.
thejazzpianoma,
Sep 11, 1:47pm
CGA! I would have thought "Sale of Goods act" as 6 kids would have to constitute commercial use. (Wonders if Mrs Kaz is monitoring this thread.)
pugmyre,
Sep 11, 1:49pm
Hey kaz, you've opened a can of worms now mate.
thejazzpianoma,
Sep 11, 1:52pm
Teasing about a short stroke is one thing. I think "worm" might be taking it a bit far. We don't want him to do anything rash like buying a Chevy Suburban now.
(Just as well Kaz is good at taking stick in the good humour it was intended)
jmma,

Not worms, but it rhythms with that and starts with S (o:

It's alright guys.He's not here.He can't punch us.Problem is he'll be back and we'll probably get it.

Speaking of Multipla's, crass humour, bad taste and certain openings.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it must be.
Oh dear. the last post might be the straw that finally breaks him then. I will be battening down the hatches now.

Geez jazz. You've really cracked it this time.He knows where you live.
kazbanz,

I must say in its early life it was extremely regularly serviced. The service agent was very happy to perform the servicing. But I guess as with all older things the service intervals have tended to get longer and longer. Hmm Can't remember the last time it was serviced.
kazbanz,
Sep 11, 3:37pm
No far from it but being a good quality import its expected to continue to perform faultlessly for many years to come (sp) Fortunately the piston is in immaculate condition for such a big bore item and the bore itself has been honed so the piston is still a good tight fit
kazbanz,
Sep 11, 3:39pm
Commercial use indeed ! what are you suggesting regarding mrs Kaz's previous ocupation! Fortunately of course we did make sure it was fully rated for the load required.
thejazzpianoma,
Sep 11, 3:45pm
There is some evidence of service in the last 18 months or so though.
thejazzpianoma,
Sep 11, 3:51pm
LOL, I am not suggesting anything of the sort!
Let the record show you came up with that little extrapolation on your own!
I was merely pointing out that 6 kids could be seen as commercial use for legal reasons.
jmma,
Sep 11, 4:28pm
I believe it was a full service with complete fluid change (o:
