Yes and no, cases are the same, internals are slightly different. the RB30 box has higher ratios and an extra bracket on the selector rails. Putting the RB20 box in is a cheap and worthwhile way to get extra performance as the gearing is slightly lower. Have had no issues with reliablity in mine.
