$4000 does sound very cheap; I went to several panelbeaters to get a quote to repair my rear-ended ST215 Caldina. New tailgate and the sheetmetal just behind the spare wheel well, and a new bumper, I couldn't find any quotes below $3500 to do it. Really surprised me, so I would doubt this GTR is $4000 to fix!

I'd budget $20,000 - $25,000 from start to finish.

If it came to less then YAY . But being a GTR there may be all sorts of different components required.

What he said, there's an awful lot of stuff mounted around that damaged area and it's all broken.

heres my estimate.
off on parts inc dash out and engine/box/suspension 40 hours.Jack and square, put onto jig, cut and replace chassis rail and front panels 20hours.Paint front of car complete $1500. certifier + on road costs $1300. parts new panels, second hand sundries(complete guess) $4500. labour at $70per hour ;total $10500+gst

he guys im thinking of buying will i need a front cut from a r34 gtr or can i use front cut from a r34 gtt. or like your coment sugests can it be done from new steel? all fabed up
