Seriosuly, did anyone EVER see ANYTHING from D & A about the change!

people were probably more worried about their car breaking down because it isn't a toyota corolla after they read anything written by that self-proclaimed expert

I wish I had the D&L guys self promotion skills; he's wasted as a motoring journalist, imagine how well he would do in politics!

saw the news item & they reckoned no 'serious' accidents reported. My first thought was that this law is used mainly at low speed or stop & go intersections so there wont be any 'serious' accidents anyway.
Ive seen many times in the last months where a car is stranded in the middle of the road waiting to turn right but has to give way to those turning left only to be nearly rear ended, not as often as I thought but twice to me outside work & once I rolled forward otherwise Im sure the guy would have hit me

Nope - I saw NOTHING from D&L headquarters about this.

Then again, I saw less from the Govt than I expected. We can't pick up tv at our place, was it all on tv!

I was one of the 'naysayers' who thought there would be carnage. but the new rules really are better than the old ones, I think that's the reason it's been a success. If you're turning right you give way to everyone, if you're turning left everyone gives way to you. I like the simplicity of it.
