He's going like the clappers
After SS6 1st in class, 15.25 min ahead of P2 Alistair McRae
He could ease off and cruise now but only P12 overall, so will probably keep giving it what for.

He wants a top 10. BLOODY good on him I say. with 13 full WRC cars in the feild, it is a great goal. To finish first, first you must finish though.

socram, Jun 22, 2:25pm

Hayden has a big time buffer as all the other cars in the SWRC class ran into problems and did not complete stages yesterday. They all took a 5 minute time penalty for each stage missed and have rejoined the rally today under Super Rallye rules.
Same could happen withHayden, say not complete the last 2 stages today, take a 5 minute penalty for each stage, fix the car overnight and rejoin tomorrow, but still with a 15 minute buffer

Looking at stage times for SS15, seems there was a problem that held up drivers from about starter #18 onwards for approx half an hour each, anyone know who or what happened!

newtec1, Jun 23, 5:20pm
Not sure what the problem was,but he is not 30 mins better than the next best in his class. All being equal he should only be posting similar times,or if he is on the pace maybe 1or 2 mins difference.

newtec1, Jun 23, 5:23pm
From memory it would have to be Dixon, and prior to that Possum.

socram, Jun 24, 7:37am
And a fair few more who have done well on the world stage including the Cunninghams, several motocrossers, Brendon Hartley, Richie Stanaway, Mitch Evans, Ryan Grant and no doubt many more.
Maybe they aren't all deserving Halberg winners, (Dixon nearly was) but they never seem to get to be finalists either.
