Should still hose off!Use warm water and hand wash it maybe. Polishes are water soluble these days.

You might have to soak it a bit, you can put it back on the polisher and spin dry it after.

LOL, sometimes they have no sense of humour. Reminds me of the time I was caught warming up a motorcycle crankcase in the new oven!

Is there any other use for an oven!

Is it a solid sheepskin pad with a steel thread in the center!. Or a removable cover that you tie up over the plastic disc!
If it's the solid one I wouldn't put it anywhere near the washing machine as it could damage it. ( damage the washing machine ).
I clean my sheepkin buff pad after every time I use it with compressed air while it is spinning.
I never never use it for cutting though, only polishing.
During my apprenticeship, when foam pads were few not too common, we used to soak the sheepskin overnight in soapy water and then water-blast them.

Assuming this is a "proper" polisher you can get a two pack farecla quick change applicator set from most paint wholesalers. Use with farecla polish and you will have amazing results. These are foam not sheepskin and you get a firm one for cutting and a soft one for finishing.

An old painter mate used to have a specific wire brush that he used, by cranking the polisher up and lightly dragging the brush across it.
Probably safer for some to wash it, and get wet!
