L200 - flasher unit - do they.

lose their "tick" sound as they age. Only 2nd one I have had since new (1990) so been used a lot. I struggle to hear my ute indicating at times but on my other car it is loud and clear. Will not be only the L200 I add - before I get told so. Thank you for helpful replies.

Enjoy the peace, Listening to a loud tick while waiting for the light to change does my head in. I almost have to turn on Robert and Johno!

Good one daryl14 - however I use a few routes that have 'mild corners' that do not cancel my indicator hence the (unpleasant) need to hear it still winking.

You could always connect the indicator circuit to a buzzer. Haha.

Connect a brighter LED light in the dash board

That is what I intend but trying to make sure the replacement one is loud and clear. Thanks all. Another "going deaf" old fart.

THEY DON'T COST A LOT OF MONEY,. Neither does a hearing test. You could always pull it out from under the dash, and mount it on a drum.

connect the horn to the flasher unit.should be able to hear it working
